Church leaders and Christian parents are beginning to put more emphasis on the role of the family in the spiritual development of children. In Matthew 22, Jesus pointed to the most important commandment in the Bible: “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise’ ” (Deuteronomy 6:5–7, (ESV2). Some of the best times of family worship in the home is when invite the Holy Spirit to come just like you do at church during worship. Teach them to close there eyes and invite the Holy Spirit. This is particularly helpful for younger children. I used to love to have a bucket with a scrub brush and would tell my daughter let’s begin with cleaning our hearts. What Is God saying he wants clean? Always start with repentance than watch what God will do. Family worship will become a lifestyle!
